The Most Common Whirlpool Stove Error Codes with 2 Digits Failure Codes

The whirlpool stove error codes may require you to check on this list. There are several most common codes indicated some issues on the whirlpool stove. And do not forget your scanner to find out about those things.

If you see the code of F2 then it indicates the temperature of the oven is too high. You need to check the welded relay contacts, the door lock operation, or the resistance connection. If there is a defect, you need to replace the sensor.

The F3 error message indicates RTD open, while F4 is the indication of RTD shorted. If one of them or both showed up to the scanner, replacing the RTD will fix the problem immediately.

If the scanner displayed the F9 failure message then the error is on the oven door lock. You need to check the wiring that connected to the switch of the door lock. It might be something wrong with the connection. Also, you can check if there is some kind of stuck lock switch in it.

Understanding the code will help you to fix the problem as quickly as possible. This is why you need to educate yourself about the whirlpool stove error codes besides using the scanner equipment.
